This is a guide to assist you in making the installation of a suite as
stress-free as possible!
Please Note:
1. A 30% handling charge is applicable to cancelled orders.
2. It is advisable not to remove existing bathroom fittings until you have received and checked your goods.
3. Please notify us as soon as possible of any shortfall or damaged to the goods so that we can assist in resolving the matter. We cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the customer or by any persons unconnected in any way with the Bathroom Store.
1. Preparation
It is in your interest to have the bathroom suite delivered to your premises well before installation. This gives you time to check it, with our driver, for any problems and gives you time to correct these. It also ensures that the equipment is free from defects before builders and plumbers can accidentally damage them. The equipment is delicate and damage can, and does, happen!
2. Timescale
Even though we hold stock of an impressive range of products, many will have to be ordered from our suppliers. Although we will strive to obtain estimated delivery dates from suppliers please be aware that we cannot guarantee these dates. It is, therefore, not advisable to remove existing bathroom fittings or book plumbers until you are in receipt of your goods and have checked them thoroughly. If you need to contact us regarding your order, you will need to quote your invoice number, so remember to have it to hand.
3. Equipment
Please be aware that we can only assist you with your purchase based upon information provided by you. We will advise you to our best of our abilities but the final purchase is YOUR decision. We are pleased to assist with sizing for tile orders but responsibility lies with the customer (we cannot accept returned tiles in the case of over-ordering). Please check your order thoroughly to make sure that all items are correct and, if necessary, consult your plumber (especially in the case of pumps to confirm that they are suitable for your requirements.
4. Delivery/Collection
Due to limited warehouse space and the delicate nature of many of the products, we are unable to offer storage for goods. We must, therefore, insist that all goods must be received within 7 days of completion of the order. This also gives you the opportunity to check all goods and correct any problems before your plumber arrives. Payment must be made in full two days in advance of the delivery date. If paying by personal cheque you must allow ten working days before we are able to deliver the goods. We cannot specify times of deliveries beyond AM or PM. Remember to thoroughly check all goods on delivery/collection as we cannot accept responsibility for damages afterwards.
5. Problems
If you require technical help most manufacturers have their own help lines manned by skilled technical staff who will be happy to help with any queries. Please feel free to ask for any of these numbers.
5.a) Incorrectly Ordered Goods
Please be aware that some companies will not take any goods back into stock. Those that will, have a time restriction and will also be subject to a minimum restocking charge of at least 30%. Goods that are to be returned should be taken back to our Warehouse in their original packaging, unopened and re-saleable as new. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING BACK WITHOUT THIS PACKAGING, so keep all boxes intact until installation is completed.
5.b) Special Order Goods
We are unable to take back "Special Ordered Goods" - if in doubt, please ask for details.
5.c) Stock Items
A handling fee may be charged to cover costs, etc.
Damages - We will strive to replace any damaged goods at the earliest possible opportunity but please be aware that many goods may have to be re-ordered.
6. Check Your Order
Double check your order and consult your plumber, if necessary. Ensuring that you have ordered the correct goods in the first place can greatly reduce problems in the future.
7. Towel Warmers/Radiators
All towel warmer-radiators must have an appropriate inhibitor installed to avoid pin holing. Your guarantee is subject to this condition.
7. a) Fitted Furniture
Fitted furniture components once ordered cannot be changed or sent back for a refund so bear this in mind when ordering.
8. Finally
Fitting the equipment is an acceptance of quality. No manufacturer, or ourselves, will pay for re-fitting charges. Therefore, make sure that you are satisfied with the equipment before tiling commences (ie. always check the flow of water in shower trays, etc., etc.) Follow these guidelines and I am sure that your installation will go as smoothly as possible. Please be assured of our best attention at all times.
