Its products are marketed mainly to Australia, the UK, the US, and China under the Imperial and Impulse brands. The Group is a division of HKR International Limited, a public listed company in Hong Kong.

The Company was established in the UK in 1996 and was earlier known as Mandarin Building Products Limited. Its distribution centre and office is in Birmingham. It has thus established a reliable distribution and service support network.
